For a boat up to 10 metres, the average mooring price per night in high season can range from €40 - €100 per night. Do I need a skipper on board my boat charter in Croatia?

A skipper can complete your sailing experience and turn your yacht charter in Croatia into the ultimate adventure. Our skippers will handle the technical aspects while you kick back and take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful Balkans! As the skippers are usually natives of the area, they can bring you to hidden spots that you might not find in the tourist guide.

If you do not wish to book a skipper and are looking for a bareboat charter, the "without a skipper" filter can be applied when browsing the Nautal platform. However, a sailing license or equivalent certification may be required as proof of competency. When is the best time to go?

The sailing season typically runs from May to September. Summer is ideally the best time to sail with peak months, July and August, reeling in sunseekers needing vitamin D and sea air. Spring features occasional showers with temperatures varying from 22°C to 28°C, and summer temperatures can peak at 30°C. Spring and Autumn can be great seasons for avoiding mass tourism and finding more seclusion and retreat, albeit with cooler temperatures. During high season, the wind is usually force 3 - 4, blowing north-westerly.
