Visit Es Portixol, a centuries-old cove of fishermen in the area. Located 18 km north of the city of Eivissa, in the small center you will find some tapas bars, restaurants and the Catalan parish church, built in the 13th century. There is a lot of tradition in this town, you can even see the local folk dancing during the summer months. San Miguel is also full of beautiful boutiques selling jewelry, bags, scarves, necklaces, and anything else you could want. It's a pretty big town, as are the usual amenities and shops in general, but if you're looking for a special gift for someone (or yourself...).
