Description of Hausboote's houseboat
Woma - D13 | 7 People
The "Roma" houseboat, built in 2023 and requiring no boating license, warmly invites you to a truly special holiday. Discover the Mecklenburg Lake District and unwind. This modern houseboat features a spacious living and dining area, as well as two bedrooms, accommodating up to seven people (one double bed, one bunk bed and one single bed, and one double sofa bed in the saloon). A full bathroom with a washbasin, shower, and toilet is also available. The fully equipped kitchenette includes a refrigerator and freezer, a stove with an oven, and a dishwasher. Extensive kitchen utensils make cooking a breeze. Enjoy the view from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows while you gather around the large dining table. When the sun is shining, the spacious sun terrace with comfortable lounge furniture invites you to relax. If needed, you can easily extend a large sunshade over the terrace. Soak up the sun or take a refreshing dip in the water. Should the weather turn a bit chilly, make yourself comfortable inside – heating, a cozy gas fireplace, Wi-Fi, and a large smart TV are all available on our boat. Our houseboat is equipped with four solar panels on the roof terrace, generating a maximum output of 1,600 watts. This sustainable energy source supports the onboard operation and helps reduce electricity consumption from external sources. The energy generated is stored in the boat's existing batteries, ensuring a reliable power supply even away from the marina. This allows you to enjoy even greater independence on the water – environmentally friendly and efficient. Enjoy unspoiled nature, sunshine, and the water, and recharge your batteries on our floating holiday home. A vacation you won't soon forget. A grill for a BBQ evening, as well as stand-up paddleboards or bicycles, can be rented from the harbor master for a fee. Dogs are not allowed. Handover and return days Boat handovers are always on Mondays through Saturdays. Returns are also on Mondays through Saturdays. The marina is closed on Sundays. Our home port is Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg on the Havel River. Please note that due to restrictions, our houseboats cannot navigate Lake Müritz. We would like to inform you about some important points regarding the rental of our houseboats: Minimum number of people on board: For maneuverability and lock passage, a minimum of 3 adults (or 2 adults + 1 responsible young person) are required. Weather-related restrictions: In case of wind force 2 or higher, the marina may prevent the houseboats from being issued to ensure the safety of all involved. Charter License All boats can be operated without a license. In this case, a charter license course of approximately 3 hours, consisting of theory and practical training, is mandatory on-site. The charter license is valid for the duration of the trip and can be obtained from the age of 18. If you already hold a valid inland waterways license, the charter license is not required. Guests with little boating experience but a valid inland waterways license are welcome to book additional skipper training (45 minutes, €75, minimum age 16). Fuel Consumption Fuel consumption will be calculated at the end of your trip and is €4 per liter. Alternatively, you can fill a jerrycan at a nearby gas station at the current daily rate. Guaranteed boat handover takes place at 4:00 PM. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as 1 p.m. (recommended for charter license holders) to check in and plan your trip at the marina.
