An ideal compromise between performance under sail and the possibilities offered by such a shallow draught, Skye is an over-equipped sailboat that will allow you to discover and enjoy the basin without limits, day and night. A real alternative to renting an apartment for a few days! For comfort (because it's important !): 2 Nautalins + large saloon convertible large berth. Sun awning and cockpit table (see photos). Gas 2 fires. Fridge 60L (Gas) Fresh water (120L) under pressure. Bathroom (shower + WC + washbasin) 55W Solar Panel Gas Plancha 2 gas bottles Elec : 12V + 1 socket 220 V (max 100W !) 220V circuit if connected to the port. Heating in the saloon if needed. All the equipment for the kitchen are available in the boat (plates / cutlery / glasses / towels ...). Provisioning of first necessity also on board (oil / vinegar / sugar / coffee / salt / pepper ...). LED lights in almost the entire boat allowing a complete autonomy with only a few turns of the engine to recharge the batteries during the day. The boat runs perfectly flat, so there is no problem to sleep in it, even if it runs aground on a bench. I leave 2 sleeping bags on board in case of need, but considering the sanitary context, it seems simpler to me that you bring your own things to sleep. For a few days, renting this boat can be an excellent alternative to renting a flat on land! (NB: It is still possible to fill up the water free of charge at the piers (Piquey / Piraillan / Canon) or in one of the harbours of the basin). In short, if I was asked, I would say that the only 3 defects of this boat is not to have (for the moment) a soft top that protects the cockpit during the aperitifs at the end of the day, a steering wheel because it throws a lot and a hot water tank to take a good hot shower. Before your charter, I will send you the logbook with all the information about the operation of the boat, instrument manuals and others. Nb: About the name of the boat. Skye is the name that the first owner gave to this boat. The Isle of Skye is the largest and northernmost island of the Inner Hebrides Archipelago in Scotland. On the west coast, the Talisker distillery founded in 1830 produces a single malt with a very special taste. I am the 3rd owner of this distillery which has always kept its name. To honor the two previous owners, there is always a bottle of Talisker on board. Cheers!
