Or perhaps just a day in the peaceful bay of Douarnenez tempts you? Quillen will take you among the treasures of the far corners of the (Breton!) world. Take a deep breath, you're on one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the known world! The boat, Quillen, is a solid "Écume de Mer" (Sea Foam), very well maintained throughout its long life. It welcomes you for a coastal cruising holiday with friends. It's a reputable boat, stiff under sail, in working order: new sails, completely rebuilt rigging, reliable engine. It welcomes you, in a friendly atmosphere, up to 5 people, in its understated opulence of amenities. Because a chart doesn't break down, I chose to keep the onboard electronics simple. Fewer devices, fewer breakdowns, less power consumption! No more ears in the wind! The equipment therefore consists of a GPS, depth sounder, and log, as well as a portable VHF radio that allows you to plot your route on the map... and enjoy the scenery! USB ports are also available :) The layout is modest but nonetheless efficient: a chart table in the saloon, which swivels depending on use, and a two-burner gas stove for the galley will keep you from starving, and maybe even allow you to cook a good meal! Forward, a cabin with a double berth and a toilet separate you from the saloon, or three berths are available. The engine is powered by a 10hp Nanni inboard engine with a maximum fuel consumption of +-1.5l/h. All documents, recent charts, current atlases, and tide tables are provided, as well as navigational instruments: compass, drypoint, Breton protractor, binoculars, etc. Departing from Douarnenez, embark on a journey between the ocean and the wild coast in its beautiful bay...
