Alternatively, you can apply for a temporary boating license at the Konstanz District Office by presenting your German Inland Waterways Certificate (SBF-Binnen) or German Coastal Waters Certificate (SBF-See), which will allow you to operate a boat on Lake Constance for four weeks.
