Here are two suggestions for a trip on the Blue Star: Our yacht is available for rental with very personalized itineraries in Berlin and the southern outskirts of Berlin. We have 10 spaces available. We are always open to our guests' requests. Whether it's a family with children, business associates, or a team outing, all guests are welcome. Trips of 6 hours or longer, or short trips of 4 hours or more, are possible. We will always try to accommodate your wishes. Your individual wishes will be discussed with you in advance of the tour. Catering can be provided for your culinary needs! As an example, here's an atmospheric picture of a Müggelsee tour! Müggelsee Cruise – A Watery Idyll Between the Big City and a Natural Paradise (from 6 hours) A Müggelsee cruise is more than just a boat tour – it's a journey of discovery through the charming waterfront landscapes of southeastern Berlin. From Berlin's largest lake to the enchanting canals of New Venice, visitors experience a unique blend of nature, history, and maritime serenity. The cruise begins by individual arrangement. Müggelsee is a vast, open body of water that, in calm weather, feels like a small sea. The Müggel Hills, gently wooded hills, frame the lake picturesquely. Old boathouses, well-maintained piers, and small beaches line the shore, while sailboats and paddlers enliven the lake. The cruise passes the traditional restaurants of Friedrichshagen and the quiet bays near Rahnsdorf. Then the path winds its way into calmer waters – into the charming labyrinth of New Venice. Here, in the east of Berlin, an almost surreal setting awaits: a complex network of narrow canals, flanked by small gardens, colorful boat docks, and romantic bridges, crisscrosses the neighborhood. The properties are mostly only accessible by water, with boats moored in front of the doors like cars elsewhere – a place that truly lives up to its name. The tour continues through the Müggelsee-Spree, past reed beds and protected shore areas, where, with a bit of luck, you might spot herons, swans, or even a beaver. Depending on the route, a detour to the idyllic Dämmeritzsee region or to Seddinsee can be planned before returning to the expansive Müggelsee. A Müggelsee tour with a detour to Neu Venedig is an incomparable blend of nature and quiet suburban romance, perfect for a day trip with family, friends, colleagues, business clients, for a romantic getaway, or simply to unwind in the midst of nature – yet so close to Berlin. ++++++++++++++ Another highlight in the Berlin/Brandenburg area is a short trip (4 hours or more) to the Bindower Fließ stream – a tranquil natural paradise between Krüpelsee and Dolgensee. Just a few kilometers southeast of Berlin, near Königs Wusterhausen, the Bindower Fließ stream winds its way through a landscape full of tranquility and natural beauty, a nearly forgotten gem. It begins its course at Krüpelsee – a clear body of water lined with dense reed beds – and winds its way in gentle curves through a quiet, pristine world, the likes of which one would hardly expect to find near a major city. The banks of the stream are lined with vast floodplains and blooming wet meadows, which in spring transform into a colorful mosaic of wildflowers and buzzing insects. Here, time seems to stand still. Herons and kingfishers can be regularly seen, while dragonflies dance over the tranquil waters. The narrow waterway is rarely used, making it a real insider tip for nature lovers, canoeists, and stand-up paddlers who appreciate the quiet glide through the landscape. Quiet forests stretch to the left and right of the stream – mostly mixed forest with ancient oaks, alders, and birches. These wooded areas appear almost untouched. Many paths are barely visible, sometimes overgrown with moss, and you're more likely to encounter wildlife than people. The area is part of a valuable biotope: amphibians, birds, and rare plant species have found their refuge here. On the waterway to Dolgensee, you'll experience a pleasant solitude. The banks are often untouched, small bays invite you to pause, and every now and then, you'll see sun-drenched clearings or grazing deer at the edge of the forest. Dolgensee itself welcomes visitors as a tranquil, crystal-clear lake, nestled in the tranquil greenery of the Dahme Lake District – a place of relaxation and wonder. Our guests will also find swimming opportunities here. The Bindower Fließ and Dolgensee are not just waterways – they are a natural experience that, in its pristine state, seems almost magical. Those who travel here will encounter a landscape that reveals itself quietly and unobtrusively – and precisely for this reason, leaves a lasting impression.
