Come aboard on the Reael and enjoy an unforgettable boating holiday on this authentic, fully electric houseboat for 2 persons! A true escape and experience silent, clean cruising thanks to the quiet 15 kW electric pod motor, a large 30 kWh battery pack and 6 powerful 440W solar panels! De Reael is a unique, wide steel flat-bottomed boat (10m x 3.5m) that’s extremely stable and barely affected by waves. With a height ofabout 2.10 m, you can pass under most bridges with ease! A bow thruster makes maneuvering and docking much easier. No boating license is required, but we do require prior boating experience. 🕒 Check-in (15.00) and check-out (17.30) are currently only possible on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, but we're happy to explore alternatives with you. Thanks to the huge 1000-liter water tank, refilling is rarely necessary. You can steer both from inside and outside the boat, and stay warm and cozy indoors with a safe pellet stove, so boating is possible almost all year round! The Nautalin (approx. 7.50m x 2.50m x 1.95m) has a laminated floor and feels spacious and comfortable, with large windows offering wide, panoramic views. Sleeps 2 adults (+1 small child). Wake up in silence and enjoy a peaceful breakfast overlooking the water. Fully equipped Nautalin includes: - Several USB charging ports & 220V outlets - Double canopy bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) with fresh linen - Spacious shower Nautalin with excellent water pressure - 50L hot water boiler - Separate toilet room - Dining table for 4 (can be folded into a small child’s bed, extra mattress available on request) - 1 to 2-person loveseat - Cozy and safe pellet stove - Kitchen with 2-burner induction hob, fridge with small freezer, Nautalinets, Nespresso machine, kettle, small oven, hot & cold water tap. - All kitchenware: cutlery, plates, bowls, pans, utensils, glasses, salt & pepper, etc. - Warm interior lighting - Blackout heat-resistant roller blinds - Built-in storage space - Soap & cleaning supplies - Towel set (new fresh towels) - Duvet with fresh duvet coverset, pillows, and bed linen - Kitchen linen - Deck chairs and a small outdoor table Safety features include: - Navigation lights - Ship’s horn - Anchor with chain and marker ball - 3 life jackets - Lifebuoy - Smoke and CO detectors - Fire extinguisher - 2 Nautalles with locks - Fixed swim ladder - Boat hook with paddle - Victron Multiplus II inverter - Backup petrol generator (emergency use only) Extras: - Full boating instruction upon arrival - Onboard information map and boating rules - Sailing permit for Amsterdam (no mooring allowed, except for charging) - Permit for the Nieuwkoop Lake Electric boating is stress-free and conscious travel. Slow down and cruise leisurely (4–7 km/h), recharge partially via the sun. A monitor keeps you informed about the battery status. The most relaxed way to explore is a multi-day sailing trip, while travelling up to 30 km/day. Distances are pretty short and this allows you to recharge overnight in a welcoming harbor and ensures having plenty of battery left for all onboard electricity needs. Take a stroll in a pretty town, swim, enjoy nature, and unwind on the deck with a cold drink at sunset!
