Description of Hausboote's houseboats
Woma - D13 | 7 People
The license-free houseboat "Roma" was built in 2023 and warmly invites you to a very special vacation. Discover the Mecklenburg Lake District and unwind. The modern houseboat consists of a spacious living and dining area and two bedrooms, which can accommodate up to seven people (one double bed, one bunk bed + one single bed, and one double sofa bed in the living room). There is also a full bathroom with a vanity, shower, and toilet. The kitchenette is fully equipped and features a refrigerator and freezer, a stove with an oven, and a dishwasher. Extensive kitchen utensils allow for relaxed cooking. Enjoy the view from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows while sitting together at the large dining table. When the sun is shining, the spacious sun terrace with comfortable lounge furniture invites you to linger. If necessary, you can easily stretch a large awning over the terrace. Enjoy the sun or take a dip in the cool water. If the weather gets a bit cooler, make yourself comfortable indoors – a heater and a cozy gas fireplace, as well as Wi-Fi and a large smart TV, are available on our boat. Our houseboat is equipped with four solar panels on the roof terrace, generating a maximum output of 1,600 watts. This sustainable energy source supports on-board operations and helps reduce electricity consumption from external sources. The generated energy is stored in the boat's already installed batteries, ensuring you have a reliable power supply even away from the marina. This way, you enjoy even more independence on the water – environmentally friendly and efficient. Enjoy the untouched nature, the sun, and the water, and recharge your batteries on our floating holiday home. A vacation you won't soon forget. A grill for a BBQ evening, as well as a stand-up paddleboard, canoe, electric inflatable boat, or bicycles, can be rented from the harbormaster for a fee. Dogs are not allowed. Bridge clearance: 4.00 m Draft: 1.00 m Fuel tank: 70 l Fresh water tank: 450 l Waste water tank: 450 l What are you waiting for? Rent, board, set sail, and enjoy your houseboat vacation. Handover and return days Boat handovers always take place Monday-Saturday. Returns also take place Monday-Saturday. The marina is closed on Sundays. Our home port is the Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel. Please note that our houseboats cannot navigate Lake Müritz due to restrictions. We would like to inform you about some important points regarding renting our houseboats: Minimum number of people on board: For maneuverability and lock-through, a minimum of 3 adults (or 2 adults + 1 competent youth) are required. Weather-related restrictions: In winds of force 2 or higher, the marina may prevent the release of houseboats to ensure the safety of all participants. Charter License All boats can be operated without a license. In this case, a charter license (approximately 3 hours) on-site, both theoretical and practical, is mandatory. The charter license is limited to the duration of the trip and can be completed from the age of 18. A current inland waterway license is not required if the boating license is in place. Guests with little boating experience but a valid inland waterway license are welcome to book additional skipper training (45 minutes, €50, minimum age 16). Gasoline Consumption Gasoline is billed according to consumption at the end of the trip in the marina: €3 per liter, payable on site. Family Discount: Receive a 3% discount for children under 15. Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights, and the surcharge for stays of 3-6 nights is 15%. The guaranteed boat handover is at 4 p.m. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as 2 p.m. (recommended for charter guests) to check in and plan your trip at the marina.
