It is approximately 35 minutes from Athens International Airport by the highway. In antiquity it was one of the most important cities of Attica. Here were the famous “Eleusinian Mysteries”. Before Elefsina, we find Daphni a camping site and each year a large wine festival dedicated to Dionysus is held.
