While in high season it costs from 219 $ per day and from 1531 $ for a week. If you want to rent a sailboat in Greece with a skipper, you will have to add approximately 191 $ per day to your budget.

Is it possible to do a sailing boat rental in Greece with or without a skipper?

It is possible to do a sailboat charter in Greece with or without a skipper. It is a great idea to make your sailing experience in Greece with a skipper if you don't want to worry about the technicalities of sailing the Ionian sea and Aegean sea on your boat trip!
Looking to have complete freedom and be more spontaneous depending on what you see on the way? A Greece sailboat rental without a skipper could be a great idea then! You will need a valid boating license if you want a bareboat charter.

What to do in Greece

Sailboat rentals on Greek islands are one of a kind! You have the freedom to choose whether you want to explore profoundly the city you start your Greece sailboat charter or if you want to island-hop!
There is an abundance of choices no matter where you start from! If you’re thinking about island hopping, then we recommend renting a sailboat for a week or more. This will give you enough time to visit several islands.
If you’re looking for adventure on land too, islands such as Santorini have fertile soil and a beautiful landscape expanse for exploring. The volcanic background of the island means the island has many vineyards and wineries you can visit to try local Greek wine!
If Athens is integrated in your itinerary, welcome to Grecian utopia! Look for sailboat charters near you and explore this beautiful city. Take advantage of every museum and be sure to admire the Parthenon and Acropolis, as well. Athens city centre has plenty to keep you occupied for an evening with swanky bars and edgy cafes serving delicious food and drink.
A great area for island hopping is the Ionian Islands. You can find party destinations such as Kavos and Corfu Town for those willing to dance the night away or host a private boat party on your sailboat rental near you! Yet there are also stunning beaches and quiet coves where you can unwind in the peaceful harmony of light waves against the pearl white sand with the scent of fresh sea salt. Tip: Myrtos Beach in Kefalonia is a personal favourite of ours!
Islands off the eastern coast of Greece, for instance, the Sporades Islands, are encompassed in gorgeous stretches of sand and pebbles where you can bathe and snorkel. The islands have their own fair share of historical buildings, churches and fortresses where you can lose yourself in Grecian archaeology and architecture.
The Cyclades possess vibrant towns with plenty of nightlife in the summertime, as well as unique landmarks such as the windmills of Kato Mili in Mykonos. Santorini’s blue-domed churches are postcard-perfect against the shimmering sea, though this island is also renowned for its wine, due to the fertile earth of the island. Sailboat charters on Greek islands are one of a kind- exploring endlessly!
Find beach paradise amongst the island archipelagos that you explore on your sailing holiday, be it the Dodecanese and Ionian Islands, or the northern coast of Greece in Macedonia. Discover more with your charter sailboat in Greece.
