We had the most amazing trip on the boat with Leon. He organised the most special day for my best friends hen do, we had two boats for 16 people. He catered to our every need, nothing was too much trouble. He was very attentive and made sure we all had a great time. He picked the most beautiful spots around the Croatian coast, along with organising a beautiful lunch spot for us all. I couldn’t recommend him enough, this was by far the highlight of our trip!

This was our second time on the boat with Ivan!! What an awesome experience. Ivan is so friendly and accommodating. We mentioned some places we wanted to go and he customized our day on the sea to fit what we wanted. He made reservations and an awesome restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed. We stopped at several beaches and were able to swim and enjoy the beautiful water around Hvar. We had an amazing time both times we rented and would definitely recommend and use Ivan again. The boat was great, spacious and very comfortable. Would give him 5 stars every time!!

Most amazing and fun experience! Captain Braminir was brilliant and made sure our day on the sea was excellent and memorable. We highly recommend it to discover the beauty Croatia has to offer via boat. We absolutely loved it!!

We had the most amazing boat day in Hvar! Ivan and his team were absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. They took us to the most beautiful spots around the islands, and what we loved most was that they avoided the overcrowded areas so we could really enjoy the beauty. Everything felt effortless and fun, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. Truly the best day—we couldn’t recommend them more!

I had the pleasure of welcoming these guests on board. They are very experienced sailors, attentive and careful with the boat, and they handled everything with great responsibility. How is the weather in Croatia?
Sail any time from April to October and bask in endless hours of sun with enjoyable sea temperatures. July and August are the hottest months with average temperatures between 25°C to 30°C while the months on either side are cooler. The wind force is generally 3 - 4 in a north-westerly direction.
What to do with a gulet in Croatia?
Obviously where you choose to sail is entirely up to you, but here are some brief ideas of places to visit and things to see.
Not only is Zadar’s Old Town tainted with Venetian ruins, but is also blessed with two unique attractions; a sea organ and a solar-powered dance floor. Stroll along the coast in the evening when this dance floor disk comes to life and listen to the melody of whale song performed by the waves.
If sailing near Šibenik, visit St. Michael’s Fortress or St. James’ Cathedral. The views from the fortress are incredible. The Kornati Islands are situated in the near and are great for exploring.
Split is famous for the ruins of its almost 1600-year-old palace dominating the town centre. With islands also dotted about close by, Hvar is one of the most popular and worth investigating. Walk up to the fortress for the most iconic view of the island where you can view its fellow neighbours which look as though someone dropped beautiful green marbles in the sea.
Dubrovnik is a must-see and top of the list when it comes to Croatian coastal cities. Walk along the cobbled streets of the scenic old town and stop for a photo at the famous Game of Thrones film set.
How to get to Croatia?
If you are flying to Croatia, the three largest airports are its inland capital, Zagreb (ZAG), Split (SPU) and Dubrovnik (DBV).
You can either catch a regional flight to a smaller, more local airport, as regional flights operate during high season, or take a bus or taxi to your boat rental starting point.
Airports such as Pula (PUY) and Rijeka (RJK) also have direct European flights worth researching.
We suggest taking the bus as some coastal cities don’t have train stations.
