For us things have been quite different that we thought when we first booked the trip with Alice. For her personal reasons she was not available anymore for the week we had booked with Alice. So she forwarded us to Luciano, a friend of her. It was okay for us, but unfortunately it seemed that his own boat was broken last minute and he found a new one which was nice, but it that had a lot of technical problems and that was only communicated to us once we were actually on the boat, on our first day. This did influence our trip a lot, because every day we had to adjust to a problem. We could not sail that much (the front sail was also broken a bit) or Luciano did not want to go too far because he was afraid that the motor could make more problems. We made it to Filicudi because we pushed to go, passing by Salina, which was very nice, but after that we basically had to go back to Lipari for technical problems and then stayed for two days in the same spot in Vulcano as Luciano did not want to move much with the boat anymore. Although we made the best out of it and because the four friends of us were a really good crew to balance out the problems and Luciano’s vibes, still there is a certain a disappointment because we payed in the end a price that was agreed on a boat which is properly working and a trip that shows us a bit more of the islands. Alice’s itinerary was much more comprehensive and complete than what we actually did for real. Unfortunately also the ending in our last morning was quite disappointing. He rushes us to leave without a moment to check in on how it was or communicate a time so basically we all had to pack our stuff in 30 min and we were left in vulcano. This left us even more disappointed and cut off also because we really helped him with everything on the boat and actually one of us was doing so much physically to support luciano with anything that was needed. It did not feel in balance as we still payed a lot of money for this and there was no kindness from him. We are writing that here, because it started with Alice and we want to be open and honest about our experience. There were many beautiful moments and in the end it will remain as a very special trip in our hearts - because the four of us could make the best out of it. We want to share an honest review here on click and boat. We know this reviews are related to Alice’s boat and herself so we want to clarify that she was NOT the skipper. From what we observed and the short moment we've met her in person, we all think Alice is a great skipper and doing very well with her groups and boat and that was in first place why we booked her. When looking at all the options she felt the most connected to us and we also liked the idea of sailing with a woman, because it is a very different energy. We cannot change things anymore, we took the best from it, but for us it still feels important to be open about our experience.

A great sailing yacht, set up for maximum ease of use. However, the set of sails did not give the speed the boat could have and favourable wind conditions were only present part of the day. Lesson learnt: Do not plan too long daily runs in the Adriatic archipelago.

We were received nicely by the waterside where the boat was moored, and Savvas explained everything we needed to know about the boat and the waters in the erea. Everything working as it should. Savvas was also helping us when we came back from our trip at the agreed time.
