Description

YACHT Beneteau First 21.7 is the smallest sailboat (sailing yacht) available for charter in Croatia. This modern cruiser/racer offers high sailing performance for her size. The boat is very much dinghy-style to sail, although the keel does make her self-righting, and foam buoyancy renders her unsinkable. She is a perfect choice for sailing enthusiasts or shorthanded* sailors. With her 1 cabin and 4 berths (two single and one double bed), she is simple accommodation for up to four crew members. This makes this yacht a perfect choice for families or small groups of friends who wish to sail Central Adriatic area. Sailing is fantastic way to explore islands and coast on the Croatian side of Adriatic sea! Central Adriatic is the best place to learn sailing basics as it is known for its calm seas and winds. Set sails on our fleet of Beneteau Firsts 21.7 from Split, Croatia. Primarily we offer usual bareboat weekly charter. We also may offer skippered: - standard 7-day charter, - regatta sailing, - educational sailing, - day sailing trips. BOAT TAKEOVER Check-in is at MCI marina in city of Split, Croatia on Saturday at 5:00 pm and check-out on Saturday at 09:00 am. In case that days before or after your week are vacant, we might arrange another check-in/out dates. LICENSE Valid license is mandatory. No VHF license is required for this class of boat. In case that you are not sure if your license is valid to charter a boat in Croatia, send me the name of your license and I will check if it is on the list of valid licenses recognized by Croatian maritime authorities. Other costs that you can still have are for food, fuel and mooring in marinas, if you prefer quiet sleep. Mooring in marinas will cost you approximately 20-40 € per day or approx. 15-20 € at the buoy. SUPPORT BEFORE/DURING YOUR SAILING TRIP My boats are equipped with tracking devices so I'm available to my guests for any useful advice during their sailing. That way they should feel safer and have greater comfort. If you choose a route through the Central Adriatic waters I can support you with useful advises. THE SHIP Ship is designed and built for good sailing. Apart from the sunshade, the most useful device is autopilot. SAILS – main sail is semi battened with two reefs and jib is ROLL (furling). CABIN – 4 beds, gas cooker and two USB ports (for mobile phone charging). Charts and a built-in compass are standard part of the equipment. There are necessary dishes and cutlery on board. Frequently asked questions
What happens in the case of bad weather?
If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, it is better to postpone the booking and agree on a new date with the boat owner. For daily rentals, you have the possibility to subscribe to our Weather Guarantee in order to be fully reimbursed in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Is fuel included in the charter price?
Fuel is not included in the rental price. Please contact the owner if you would like an estimate of the fuel cost of booking this boat.
Do I need a licence to rent this boat?
You must have a boat licence to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the owner on the day of booking, so do not hesitate to confirm with the owner the type of licence required for this specific rental (coastal, river, etc...). Please note that it is possible to book the boat without being the skipper yourself at the time of charter.
Am I insured in case of problems with the boat at sea?
All boats available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority. Additional insurances (such as deposit waiver, assistance, etc.) may be purchased directly on Click&Boat at the time of booking, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Am I experienced enough to rent this boat?
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the hirer's nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with the owner via the message board.
