Upon boarding the boat, we were greeted by a cold, uncommunicative person who offered no welcome whatsoever. I realized that drinks wouldn't be offered unless we asked for them, and when we did, I noticed that he was rationing them as if they were costing him money. The "snacks" were fifty-cent chips, and they weren't going to be served until we reached Amalfi, because "otherwise they'd run out." This is simply absurd. Other operators right here on the Amalfi Coast offer a much more respectable experience. I saw with my own eyes how Luxury Tours treated their clients impeccably, even on smaller boats. When I complained to the agency, their responses were even more disappointing. They tried to make me feel like the problem was me, arguing that the advertisement didn't say "unlimited drinks and snacks." True—but it also doesn't mention any restrictions. They were more concerned with being right than with solving the problem. It was like arguing with someone who knows they messed up and still refuses to admit it. My complaint was never about the money. I just wanted to receive what I paid for, and if something had an additional cost, I would have gladly covered it. A real shame. ……. A total rip-off!
