About the experience

Private Half-Day Boat Trip – Sea, Sailing, and the Bays of the Palermo Coast

Discover the Palermo coast aboard Grace with a private half-day experience, ideal for those who want to experience the Sicilian sea through sailing, swimming in crystal-clear waters, snorkeling, SUP, and relaxation.

I will personally be your skipper, and because the boat will be reserved for you, we won't follow a rigid schedule: together, we'll choose the best itinerary and stops based on the wind, sea conditions, and your favorite activities.

We'll depart from the picturesque Porticello di San Nicola l'Arena, a small gem on the Palermo coast dominated by the historic Norman Tower and far from the chaos of the city.

Depending on the conditions, we'll sail towards Porticello, the Secca delle Formiche, Capo Zafferano, and Capo Mongerbino, alternating sailing with stops for swimming and relaxation in the most beautiful bays.

When the wind permits, we'll turn off the engine and sail, for a truly authentic experience of the sea.

SUPs and snorkeling equipment are available on board free of charge.

During the experience, I'll offer you sweet and savory local snacks, water, soft drinks, wine, and prosecco, to accompany a toast overlooking the Sicilian coast.

Upon request and when compatible with the sailing time, you can also try trolling with the equipment provided on board, a fun experience even for those who have never fished before.

September and October are wonderful months for sailing in Sicily: the sea is still warm, the bays are quieter, and the coast offers a much more relaxed atmosphere than in the high season.

San Nicola l'Arena can be reached from Palermo by car or train; a private transfer to/from Palermo can also be arranged upon request.

I speak fluent Italian, English, French, and Spanish.

Grace will be all yours: a few hours to slow down, dive into the Mediterranean, and discover Sicily from the sea.

Perfect experience! We were a group of 6 and we enjoyed the experience very much! The lunch at the boat was also very good and enjoyable. The water was good for a swim and we also tried the paddle board. I want to thank to Sara and Fabrizio who welcomed us with such warm and friendship and took very good care of us! Kind regards, Joana

We had an incredible day sailing in Sicily! Fazbrizio was extremely communicative and flexible, which we appreciated so much. We were delayed by three hours due to a highway accident, and he was so kind and understanding about it. Once on board, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. He took us to stunning spots along the island that we never would have discovered on our own. He was also a fantastic host: interesting to talk to and full of fascinating stories and historical knowledge. This experience was truly a highlight of our trip—highly recommend!

A wonderful experience with Fabrizio and his boat... Spectacular scenery, a sailboat in excellent condition, and very friendly and pleasant service. We learned about and learned part of Sicily's history, its gastronomy, and its people through Fabrizio and Luigi's stories... Thank you both so much for a great family day!
