About the experience

Sail from Hvar to Split on a one-way 10.5-hour adventure that transforms a simple transfer into a full-day Adriatic experience. With three carefully chosen swim stops along the route, this journey is the perfect way to explore hidden bays and islands before arriving at Split’s historic port.

The day begins as you leave Hvar and sail toward Vela Garška, a beautiful sheltered bay on the island’s coast. With emerald waters and a peaceful atmosphere, this is the ideal first swim stop of the day. Dive in, snorkel, or simply float in the calm sea while surrounded by unspoiled scenery.

Next, the cruise continues with a 1.5-hour sail toward either Stračinska Bay on Šolta or the quiet Milna bays on Brač, depending on weather conditions. Both offer crystal-clear waters, dramatic cliffs, and the chance to enjoy a longer swim break in a tranquil island setting. These coves are less crowded, allowing you to experience the Adriatic at its most authentic.

The final stop is on the island of Čiovo, where you’ll visit either Gospa od Prizidnice, a dramatic cliffside chapel overlooking turquoise waters, or the sandy bay of Kava. Both options provide an unforgettable last swim surrounded by natural beauty before the final leg of the journey.

From Čiovo, it’s a short 30-minute sail into the port of Split. Approaching the city from the sea offers breathtaking views of the Riva promenade and Diocletian’s Palace, one of the Adriatic’s most iconic sights. After a day of sailing, swimming, and exploring, you’ll arrive in Split with both memories and the satisfaction of having turned travel into an adventure.

We had an absolutely amazing day at sea celebrating a 60th birthday with our family of five. The whole experience was unforgettable from start to finish. Our skipper was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He went above and beyond by reserving tables for us at Mlini Restaurant and Carpe Diem and even transported us there by dinghy. During the day, we were served a delicious traditional Dalmatian marenda on board, which was one of the highlights of the trip. We also stopped for a swim in a beautiful, idyllic bay with crystal-clear water. The boat was fully equipped with snorkeling gear, a SUP board, a canoe, and more, all of which we could use freely. Everything was perfectly organized, relaxing, and enjoyable. It truly was a perfect day on the sea. We highly recommend renting this boat privately if you want to spend an unforgettable day on the water with family or friends.

This had to be one of the best days of sailing and boating we’ve had ever! The captain and his first mate ( his wife )are such phenomenal people. They had a lot of experience sailing and making people feel welcome and enjoying the experience. If you want a great experience sailing, this should be your choice. The sailboat is very big, very spacious, easy to walk around, and to lay out and enjoy the sun. They also had a kayak and a paddle-board and snorkel equipment. When they open the sails up it is such a beautiful site and so peaceful. The galley was so clean and cozy.I highly recommend this boat ! It also has very cool historical facts about the sail boat that you need to ask the captain about . First boat from Croatia to sail around the world in 1965.
