DAY 1 — Lisbon → Sesimbra Leaving the Tagus immediately gives you a first true nautical moment: current, maritime traffic, and the transition from sheltered river water to the open Atlantic. As you leave Lisbon’s coastline behind, you enter an area with generally stable winds — ideal for hoisting the mainsail and genoa and fine-tuning the trim. The coastline toward Nautalo Espichel becomes a natural lesson in coastal navigation: .prominent cliffs as visual reference points, .small coves and inlets appearing on the horizon, .slight course adjustments following the contours of the land, .continuous reading of the depth contours as you progress safely along the coast. The approach to Sesimbra is smooth, entering a naturally sheltered bay — perfect for a calm end to the day. Once docked, you may explore the Sesimbra atmosphere at your own pace and with time to relax onboard. DAY 2 — Sesimbra → Arrábida → Tróia Departing Sesimbra at sunrise usually brings a clean offshore breeze, allowing you to sail steadily along the base of the Arrábida mountain range. The hills create a wind-channeling effect that gives the boat a very balanced behaviour, letting you experiment with more precise sail trim. Reaching Portinho da Arrábida is one of the highlights: . crystal-clear water, . sandy bottom ideal for anchoring, . excellent natural protection. It is the perfect postcard - very beautiful spot. After a relaxed anchorage, navigation continues toward Tróia. Entering the Sado estuary offers calm water, minimal swell, and excellent landscape. DAY 3 — Tróia With Tróia as a safe and convenient base, this day is designed for you to enjoy the boat with time and comfort. In the morning we can go sailing and explore some hiden spots nearby. In the afternoon, the heated pool and sauna invite you to relax, letting the calm of Tróia match the rhythm of the ocean you've sailed. DAY 4 — Tróia → Setúbal The approach to Setúbal harbour is wide, calm, and highly secure — perfectly suited for a 50-foot sailing yacht. Once you are docked around 12:00h, the journey concludes with the feeling of having completed a genuine nautical adventure, allowing you to enjoy the full range of coastal sailing: from open-ocean conditions to sheltered estuary waters, always with comfort and safety at the forefront. Meals are not included in the price. Guests usually enjoy breakfast and lunch onboard by themselves, and then go out for dinner at a nearby restaurant to try the great local cuisine. ( If you prefer, we can also take care of all meals for you. Just let us know, and we will be happy to provide a personalised quote )
