Description of Erik's motorboat
Nimo - 27 | 8 People
Classic, charming and very well-maintained semi-planing motorboat, ideal for family and friends more information, pictures and videos are available if interested Welcome to rent our classic and homely motorboat, a stable, spacious and easy-to-maneuver semi-planer that is very suitable for an archipelago holiday at a leisurely pace. The boat is very reminiscent of classic Storebro boats from the same time, both in feel and function. It is also close to the function of Orrskär, safe, seaworthy and long-distance adapted motorboats built for Nordic conditions rather than speed hunting. For those looking for that type of classic, solid archipelago boat, this is a very relevant alternative. The boat is excellent for swimming from cliffs, natural harbors, dinners at sunset and safe overnight stays on board. She feels steady in the lake and is also safe at a natural harbor. Inside, you will find a generous saloon with seating around a table, plenty of light and a warm wooden interior that gives a classic and cozy feel. The galley is fully equipped with a stove, oven, sink and fridge with freezer compartment, well suited for longer stays. The foredeck has comfortable sleeping accommodations, and aft there is a separate aft cabin with two more beds. Two more sleeping accommodations are available by folding down the dining table. The aft deck offers a sheltered seating area under a half-covered cabin and canopy, which provides good comfort even in poor weather. The toilet is accessed from the middle saloon and is separated for individual use. The boat is technically well maintained and suitable for those who appreciate classic seamanship, safe walking and good range. My boating experience is extensive and grounded in daily, real-world use. Over the past five years, we have more or less lived in the Stockholm archipelago, using boats as our primary means of transportation on a daily, year-round basis. I have continuous experience operating both a semi-displacement inboard vessel for heavier, lower-speed conditions and a high-performance aluminum boat at speeds exceeding 50 knots. This experience spans all operating conditions, including darkness, cold weather, ice, rough seas, and dense archipelago traffic, resulting in strong seamanship, situational awareness, and local knowledge.
