Captain Teiki / Skipper of the boat : Captain Teiki brings over seven years of professional sailing experience and has been a full-time captain since 2018. Raised in a family of sailors, he combines high-level competitive sailing with extensive offshore expertise. A former member of the French National Sailing Team, he competed in multiple World Championships in Optimist, Hobie Cat and RC44. He was crowned French National Champion in Optimist at 15, ranked 8th worldwide in the same class, and later achieved 4th place worldwide in RC44, along with Oceania and Polynesia titles at 18. He has completed three major ocean crossings, including two transatlantic passages and one transpacific crossing from Europe to French Polynesia. Experienced in night sailing and challenging conditions, he prioritizes safety, precision and smooth navigation. Fully licensed (BC 200 Sailing Captain), STCW certified and first-aid trained, he personally sailed the Bali 4.5 to Tahiti in 2020–2021 and has been captaining her for private charters ever since. Professional, calm and approachable, Captain Teiki ensures safe, seamless and unforgettable journeys through Polynesian waters.
