Renting a boat in Split

Split is a beautiful city located in the Dalmatian region of Croatia. It is the second-largest city in the country and is surrounded by the rugged Dinaric Alps on one side and the stunning blue waters of the Adriatic Sea on the other. The city of Split has a rich history dating back to ancient Roman times. The Roman Emperor Diocletian built his retirement palace here in the 4th century, and the ruins of this palace are still one of the main attractions of the city today. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the city was ruled by various powers, including the Byzantines, Venetians, and Austro-Hungarians, all of which have left their mark on the city's architecture and culture. Today, Split is a popular tourist destination, known for its beautiful beaches, stunning historical sites, and lively Mediterranean atmosphere. Whether you're interested in exploring ancient Roman ruins, soaking up the sun on the beach, or experiencing the city's vibrant nightlife, Split has something for everyone. We visited the island Brač, a few beautiful bays. I really liked the Šolta beach, with the pool bar/cafe.

Good weather around Split. A little bit urban and run down outside the old city. Nice and easy getting to Hvar and Brac islands.

As first time in Split, we were surprised by the beauty of Split, the city is charming, historical and has a lot of nice bars/restaurants and hidden gems (same for Hvar). For sure I would like to come back again.
