This 11-meter Finnish Nauticat 33 motor yacht accommodates four people in two double cabins, each with its own shower and toilet. I charter my boat with an optional skipper or to experienced sailors holding an offshore sailing license or with solid nautical experience. We sail it frequently, so it's perfectly ready to set sail with you. This boat, classified and equipped in Category 1, also has a bow thruster to facilitate harbor maneuvers (which aren't always easy) and forced-air heating for comfort. It's based in Port Médoc, at the mouth of the Gironde estuary, in the town of Verdon-sur-Mer, ideally located for sailing up the estuary to Bordeaux without difficulty, taking into account tidal currents and navigation markers. Once you leave the Gironde estuary, La Rochelle is a day's sail away. Port Médoc offers the following amenities: Restaurants for users, restaurants, a grocery store, a laundromat, a chandlery... This peaceful port, surrounded by a pine forest, is served by a large free parking lot at the end of the pontoons. The ferry terminal for Royan is a 15-minute walk away, one kilometer away. For a refreshing swim, Chambrette beach is located just at the end of the port. The aft cabin has a double bed, and the forward cabin can be configured as either a double or two separate berths. Mattress protectors and fitted sheets are provided, so you only need to bring your own sheets, blankets, duvets, comforters, or whatever suits your needs and the weather. The pillows are rectangular and come with pillowcases and under-pillows. If you hire a skipper, they can sleep either on the berth in the wheelhouse or in the saloon. However, no linens are provided. The galley is very functional with a refrigerator, a three-burner gas stove and oven, a double sink, a kettle, a coffee maker, and all the necessary dishes and cooking equipment.
