With our 1.5-hour picnic boat tour, we want to make it easy and convenient for you to drive your own boat on the Main River. This boat requires no license, is incredibly easy to steer, and is a blast! If you wish, one of our staff members will be happy to drive you. Up to 8 people can comfortably sit facing each other around the large table on the picnic boat and enjoy their own food and drinks during the tour. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks on board for this boat tour at no extra charge. Please remember to bring a trash bag and paper towels or napkins for any spills, for example. ... Empty bottles and trash must be taken with you! Your boat tour in the banking metropolis of Frankfurt starts at the meeting point in Frankfurt's Westhafen (West Harbor) and takes you along one of the most scenic stretches of the Main River. The route leads along the Sachsenhausen river promenade, offering views of the museums and Frankfurt's financial district with its impressive skyscrapers, and under numerous bridges to the European Central Bank's skyscraper. In case of strong sunlight, a sunshade on the picnic boat provides the necessary shade and can also protect against light rain. ★ PLEASE NOTE ★ After booking your appointment online, the instructions (PDF) for the license-free electric boat, including the most important rules for operating it on the river, will be sent to your email address. The instruction manual for the electric boat must be printed, carefully read, filled out, and signed before your booking appointment! A security deposit of €150 is required. Small children and non-swimmers must wear a life jacket at all times near the water. The number and size (weight of the person) of the life jackets must be communicated in writing no later than two days before your booking appointment. During the handover, our staff member will discuss the most important points of the instruction manual and the operation of the boat with you, including information about the cruising area. Then the fun can begin, as you can take the helm and set off yourself. The security deposit of €150 is payable in cash. A fee of €30 will be charged for each quarter hour or part thereof that the booking time is exceeded. A flat fee of €20 will be charged for excessive soiling.
