Here are two suggestions for a trip on the Blue Star: Our yacht is available for rent with highly customized routes in Berlin and the southern Berlin area. We have 10 seats available. We are always happy to accommodate our guests' requests. Whether you're a family with children, business associates, or a team outing, all guests are welcome. Trips of 8 hours or more, or shorter trips starting at 6 hours (from €450.00), are possible. We will always try to fulfill your wishes. Your individual requirements will be discussed with you before the trip. Catering can be arranged upon request! Here's a snapshot of a Müggelsee cruise as an example! Müggelsee Boat Tour – Watery Idyll Between City and Nature Paradise (from 8 hours) A Müggelsee boat tour is more than just a boat trip – it's a journey of discovery through the charming waterways of southeast Berlin. From Berlin's largest lake to the enchanting canals of Neu Venedig (New Venice), visitors experience a unique blend of nature, history, and maritime tranquility. The tour departs by individual arrangement. The Müggelsee is a vast, open body of water that, in calm weather, feels like a small sea. The Müggel Hills, gently wooded ridges, frame the lake picturesquely. Old boathouses, well-maintained jetties, and small beaches line the shore, while sailboats and paddlers bring the lake to life. The tour passes the traditional restaurants of Friedrichshagen and the tranquil bays near Rahnsdorf. Then the route winds into calmer waters – into the charming labyrinth of Neu Venedig! ... Here in East Berlin, an almost surreal scene awaits: a sprawling network of narrow canals, flanked by small gardens, colorful boat docks, and romantic bridges, crisscrosses the neighborhood. Most properties are only accessible by water, and boats are moored in front of the houses like cars elsewhere – a place that truly lives up to its name. The boat tour takes you through Lake Zeuthen, past reed beds and protected shoreline areas, where, with a bit of luck, you might spot herons, swans, or even a beaver. The route will lead us across Lake Seddin and through the idyllic Dämmeritzsee region! A boat tour of Lake Müggelsee with a detour to Neu Venedig (New Venice) is an unparalleled blend of nature and tranquil suburban charm, perfect for a day trip with family, friends, colleagues, business clients, or even for romantic moments as a couple, or simply to unwind amidst nature – yet still so close to Berlin. ++++++++++++++ Another highlight in the Berlin/Brandenburg area is a short trip (from 6 hours): The Bindower Fließ – a tranquil natural paradise between Krüpelsee and Dolgensee. Just a few kilometers southeast of Berlin, near Königs Wusterhausen, the Bindower Fließ meanders like an almost forgotten jewel through a landscape of peace and natural beauty. It begins its course at Krüpelsee – a clear body of water fringed by dense reed beds – and winds gently through a quiet, pristine world, the likes of which one would hardly expect to find so close to a major city. The banks of the stream are lined with expansive floodplains and flowering meadows, which in spring transform into a colorful mosaic of wildflowers and buzzing insects. Here, time seems to stand still. Herons and kingfishers are regularly spotted, while dragonflies dance above the still water. The narrow waterway is barely used and thus remains a true insider tip for nature lovers, canoeists, or stand-up paddleboarders who appreciate the quiet glide through the landscape. Silent forests stretch out on both sides of the stream – mostly mixed woodland with old oaks, alders, and birches. These wooded areas appear almost untouched. Many paths are barely visible, some overgrown with moss, and you're more likely to encounter wildlife than people. The area is part of a valuable biotope: amphibians, birds, and rare plant species have found refuge here. On the waterway to Lake Dolgen, you experience a welcome sense of seclusion. The banks are often natural, small bays invite you to stop, and again and again the view opens up to sun-drenched clearings or grazing deer at the edge of the forest. Lake Dolgen itself finally welcomes visitors as a tranquil, crystal-clear lake, nestled in the serene greenery of the Dahme Lakes region – a place of relaxation and wonder. Here you'll also find swimming opportunities for our guests. The Bindower Fließ and the Dolgensee are not simply waterways – they offer a natural experience that, in its pristine state, feels almost fairytale-like. Those who travel here encounter a landscape that reveals itself quietly and unobtrusively – and precisely for that reason leaves a lasting impression.
