About the experience

Hello,

I invite you to join me on my sailboat. This Beneteau Oceanis 321 is departing from Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe.

As I live on the boat, I only have one cabin available, so I can only accommodate a maximum of two people. I will be your guide throughout your cruise. I have been sailing in these waters for several years. I am happy to answer your questions and can advise you on the best islands to visit depending on your travel dates.

This 10-meter sailboat is very well laid out, and you will enjoy a spacious living area. I suggest you take the large double aft cabin for your nights on board.

There is a fully equipped galley, and you are responsible for your own provisions for the crossing. I can recommend a list of shops if needed.

I am very flexible regarding destinations. We can visit Gosier islet in a day, Marie-Galante in two or three days, and Les Saintes in three days. For both Marie-Galante and Les Saintes, allow a minimum of five days.

I'm available via Click&Boat messaging if you have any questions about your sailing plans!

During the week we spent together, with his knowledge of the Caribbean and his experience at sea, Yves showed us all the facets of the Guadeloupe archipelago. There are very beautiful aspects and others that make you understand how life on these islands is not always a tropical paradise. Yves tells you about it and takes you around with his car, especially on the island of Maria Galante, which is certainly the most emblematic for its agricultural vocation, its natural beauty but also for the arrival of the sargassum that has turned the lives of its inhabitants and tourists upside down. Yves' boat is essential and comfortable. Obviously on a boat you have to know how to adapt and Yves with his calm and patience always puts you at ease.
