    Overall, our charter was an enjoyable experience. That said, we didn’t get the boat we were shown. I originally enquired about a lovely large boat, which was unavailable. I was then offered this one, and at the last minute it was switched to an “upgrade” to a larger boat. I rent a boat every year and I know my boats. I wanted the Princess V60 because it’s a beautiful vessel, but I ended up with an Aicon. The boat was nice enough, though it looked quite a bit older and well-used. The crew were pleasant, and the captain was kind enough to point out landmarks and clearly knew the waters well, so the charter itself went smoothly. However, it wasn’t the boat I had ordered, and the communication came so late that I couldn’t make any changes. This gentleman has several boats, and I suspect he prices some of the nicer ones attractively to secure your business, then switches you to a different vessel at the last minute. I would recommend the charter overall, but make sure you are absolutely clear about which vessel you will be getting.
