My husband and I had a fabulous day on this boat. The crew were incredibly attentive, and our lovely host couldn’t have done more – from preparing delicious snacks and keeping our drinks cold and topped up, to even wrapping us in towels when we climbed out of the sea. The boat is very well looked after and in pristine condition.
We try to do an experience like this whenever we travel, and this one far outweighs all the others. I would happily book it again.

Gabrielle and her group were absolutely wonderful guests , polite, enthusiastic, and full of positive energy. Communication was smooth and effortless from start to finish. It was a real pleasure having them onboard, and we’d be more than happy to welcome them again anytime for another cruise!

Be prepared for significant hidden costs. We were charged an additional €600 for fuel on a 4-hour trip that was not communicated upfront.
Only after paying the full rental amount of €2,400 were we informed about this extra cost. Based on the boat’s moderate speed, continuous driving for 4 hours would consume at most 100 liters of fuel, which in Mykonos costs approximately €2 per liter but we didn’t drive continuously—we had two stops for 1 hour each si do the math.
I was told that if I refused to pay the €600 fuel fee, the trip would be canceled and I would only receive 60% of my payment back. To me, this practice feels misleading and unfair. I ultimately accepted the charge because it was my birthday, and I didn’t want to ruin the day over €600.
Beside the company’s greediness and dishonesty the boat crew was excellent, and the boat itself was clean and enjoyable.

We enjoyed our day trip around the islands of Kea and Kithnos very much. We made multiple stops for swimming and also had lunch on board. The boat was in great condition and the crew were very helpful and accommodating!

Tony and his family and friends were exemplary in their friendliness, kindness and respect to the boat and to the Captain. We had a very nice time together and at some point I felt during the trip that I am in the trip with my family...but I was with people that i knew only for some hours. We had a very good time together and shared experiences that will stay for ever. Thank you Tony, Stefanie, Lian and Mario for all. Wish you all the best. I appreciate that you were with me and me son and we had so good time....All the best! Fair winds and following seas to whatever you do in your life....

We've just got back from a really wonderful trip where we sailed around some of the Saronic Islands close to Athens. We had a five night trip on Anima with Captain Christos and Nikos assisting. We are a couple from New Zealand.
We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed our time with Nikos and Christos. Everything went very well right from initial contact whilst enquiring from home with information and clear communication all of which turned out to be very accurate. Nikos who coordinated all of this remained available and supportive to us over and above including collecting us from our Athens base on the day we set out as there was an Uber strike that day. I really can't say enough for how supportive he was - including taking last minute phone calls from me.
We stayed at four separate islands over the time we were there - the highlight for us being Hydra but everything had something different to offer and we enjoyed it all. Most days there was a stop for swimming. One day we elected to simply stay in port (in Hydra) partly due to weather (early in the season in May) and that suited us perfectly. Christos and Nikos had a lot of local knowledge and knowledge of local networks and that really helped with practical things like getting births at marinas which you can't always take for granted in some busy and sought-after ports.
I've done a little sailing including hiring some vessels in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand and in Australia but don't have a formal qualification and know my skills are very much at the beginner level. I'd kind of entertained trying to hire a bareback in Greece but realised I didn't have the skillset to do this and in fact I believe you need formally-recognised qualifications to hire and sail in Europe so it was never going to be an option. But, the reason I say all of this is that if you are interested in sailing in Greece but don't have the skills or confidence to manage it yourself then this type of charter can be an excellent option.
It was great having the thoroughly professional, competent, thoughtful, supportive and fun team of Christos and Nikos on board with us. I know my partner Tanya who had not so much sailing experience also had a lot of confidence and time for them.
It was a really magic six days with just the best people and a really professional operation. We would come back and have no hesitation recommending Nikos and his team. Thanks for a brilliant experience.

From May to October the weather is sunny and in the twenties and over. Generally in the peak summer months, the temperature tends to average at 29°C.
The meltemi wind is considered the most forceful wind in the summertime in Greece. Luckily, the meltemi is much lighter in the area of Greece and differs from wind force 4-6 in a northerly direction. Though the meltemi doesn’t always blow in summer, there can sometimes be a lighter southerly wind blowing at wind force 2-4.
