The main region in which we have fishing boat rentals is Kvarner Bay.

Kvarner bay is also referred to as the Kvarner Gulf and features sensational islands such as Krk, although Krk is connected to mainland Croatia by bridge. 

The sailing season ranges from April to October, although technically you can sail at any time of year. The warmest months are July and August with temperatures peaking 25°C to 30°C. However, spring and autumn are also a great time to visit Croatia, as it’s still sunny and warm, generally comprising of less crowds.

Regardless of whether you are recreational fishing or sport fishing, you need to purchase a licence in order to be able to fish in the Adriatic Sea. You can do this quite easily, as in terms of documents, you only need to show your identity card. You can buy a variety of fishing licenses varying from a daily to yearly licence. 

Please be advised that both types of fishing (recreational and sport) are prohibited on public beaches and in harbours and ports from 1st May to 1st October.

 

The three biggest airports are Zagreb (ZAG), Split (SPU) and Dubrovnik (DBV), though smaller airports also operate national flights. 

Rijeka Airport (RJK) and Pula Airport (PUY) are closest to Kvarner Bay and although smaller, have direct European flights.

There are many towns which don’t have train stations. Hereby, if you need to travel by public transport, we recommend researching beforehand. Buses are generally reliable and operate more often.
