What ports are in the area?

Vieux Port (Port of Cannes) is the main harbor of Cannes. Modern and fully-equipped, yet eco-friendly, Port of Cannes has over 800 berths with excellent customer service, guaranteeing a pleasant stay during your yacht rental. Regardless of the large quantity of berths available in this port, it is necessary to reserve valuable berths in advance

Port Pierre Canto offers a warm welcome to yachts and their crews during their voyage on the French Riviera. Located on the east side of the Promenade de la Croisette, vessels up to 85m occupy this illustrious port which offers high-quality facilities and is walking distance from everything you might need.

How is the weather in Cannes?

Cannes Film Festival launches the summer season in May with temperatures rising until they peak at an average temperature of 22°C in August. Though in recent years, temperatures have frequently peaked over 30°C. The wettest month of the year is statistically October with 70mm of rain.

You may prefer to venture out on your yacht charter in May and share the port with the outburst of A-listers on their supreme yachts, or perhaps you would rather enjoy the mediterranean atmosphere to yourself. If the latter, we favor going in September when the summer crowds have subsided, leaving the heat and ocean in your company.

The Mediterranean Coast is known for its strong mistral winds, usually during the winter and spring seasons, so we advise that you take extra care if sailing during this time of the year. Summer leaves the ocean at its calmest with minimal tides and light breezes, a safer time of year for sailing

What to do in Cannes?

If shopping is your thing, we suggest exploring the boutiques along the palm tree studded Boulevard de la Croisette and Rue d’Antibes. However, if you’re more of a foodie, the bistros, bars and restaurants in Cannes are more than capable of tickling your taste buds. Some propositions for those of you who like to enjoy the region’s notorious rosé, GOTHA nightclub usually opens on the first evening of Cannes Film Festival and remains open for the rest of the summer season.
