Excellent old city to visit after the journey, with lovely restaurants and sunset view. However, destinations from Gallipoli without using a ton of fuel seem limited, but perhaps it was due to rougher seas along the west coast of Salento. We visited Punta Pizzo and Isola di Sant' Andrea. Water lovely, esp in PP.

To say the capitan and his first mate (also his son) were exceptional is not enough to describe how kind, welcoming, and most
of all attentive to our every need they were during our 1 day excursion. Nino the capitan had over 40 yrs of nautical experience, and it showed. The places he brought us were magical including the last where we spent most of our time, Torre del Pizzo. The water was as clear as when we were in Bora Bora, visibility was immense!! We had a blast swimming in the calm emerald blue waters and jumping on and off of the boat. We also were able to lounge on the comfortable sun deck. Now let’s get to the food, the simplicity of the appetizers was so fresh and so perfect to start with. Later in the day, Mario the capitan’s son cooked a clam penne pasta that left us speechless!! Simply amazing. Plus not too mention vino, Prosecco, etc as we wanted. The boat was perfect and well maintained for our family of 4. Excellent service, and a trip never to forget!!
