Our boat rentals in Istria are situated in various locations in the region.
In Pula, ACI Marina Pula is the most central marina.
Marina Veruda and Marina Bunarina are located opposite each other in a large marina expanse on the south coast of Pula. Most of our yacht and catamaran rentals are located here.
ACI Marina Pomer, Rabac and Marina Trget are further to the east in tranquil coastal villages.
Whereas Marina Vrsar, Porec, ACI Marina Rovinj, ACI Marina Umag and Marina Nautica Novigrad are located on the west coast, north of Pula.
Climate and Sailing Conditions in Istria
You can rent a boat from spring time through to autumn, depending on your favourite time of year for sailing and climate preference. Summer time temperatures average 25°C to 30°C, whereas spring and autumn are generally cooler. Of course, the advantage here is that there are not so many visitors in comparison to the summer time.
The main winds affecting the sailing area are the mistral, jugo and bora. The bora is the main cause for concern but you need not worry so much during the summer season. The mistral blows in a north-westerly direction, picking up in the afternoons, ideal for your sailing boat rental and welcomed by sailors. The jugo blows in a south-westerly direction with longer cyclones bringing humidity.
