About the experience
Departing from Saplunara, where your skipper Joško will welcome you at your preferred start time, this half-day experience offers a perfect blend of relaxation, exploration, and adventure.
Please note that the fuel is not included and need to be paid at the harbor for amount of more or less 120€
Our first stop is a hidden bay at the very edge of the Saplunara peninsula, facing the open Adriatic. This secluded and sheltered spot is ideal for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. With the snorkeling equipment we provide, you’ll have the chance to explore the vibrant underwater world in complete tranquility.
We then continue towards the famous Odysseus Cave – one of Mljet’s most iconic natural wonders. According to legend, this is where Odysseus found refuge after being shipwrecked, captivated by the island’s beauty. The cave is known for its stunning natural light effects, where sunlight reflects off the sea and illuminates the interior in mesmerizing shades of blue.
Next to the cave, there is a well-known cliff-jumping spot for those feeling adventurous – a perfect opportunity for an unforgettable moment (and photo!) during your holiday.
You will have free time to explore the cave area at your own pace, using our stand-up paddle board and snorkeling gear. You can also enjoy a drink at the unique seaside bar located right by the cave, creating truly special memories.
On our way back, we stop at a traditional fisherman’s bay, known for its rich marine life. It’s a fantastic place for a final swim and to experience why local fishermen gather here in the evenings.
We then return to Saplunara, completing a relaxed yet enriching 4-hour journey.
