About the experience
With its exceptional seakeeping qualities, this vessel was designed and originally owned by a sport fishing guide for offshore tuna fishing and catching sea bass in the turbulent channels of the Arcachon Bay. Measuring 8.50 meters in length and an impressive 3.40 meters in beam, you can easily move around the boat from bow to stern and from port to starboard. The deck is equipped with 20 proper seats but is certified for 10 passengers. Powered by two latest-generation 150hp outboard motors, it quickly reaches a top speed of 20 knots in the Arcachon Bay. A table for picnics, seafood platters, or sunset aperitifs is located on the foredeck, surrounded by teak benches with comfortable cushions for cruising. The onboard electronics include trim tabs to stabilize the boat's trim, two depth sounders/GPS/chartplotters, a fixed VHF radio, a handheld VHF radio, and an electric windlass. All the required equipment is present, as this boat is inspected and monitored annually by the French maritime authorities.
A swim ladder is located at the stern for swimming. A ladder at the bow allows passengers to disembark safely when the boat is beached on a beach or sandbar (no need to swim to leave the boat).
Of course, the rosé is kept perfectly chilled, cooking utensils are already on board, powerful Bluetooth speakers are available for your favorite playlists, and lighting is provided for sunset and a slightly nighttime return. Three-quarters of the deck is covered with shade sails that can be deployed in 3 minutes to provide shade in case of a heatwave.
All destinations and all your desires should be achievable, provided the day's marine weather conditions permit.
