The Wierschip is a flat-bottomed Fisherman Aak and, due to its shallow draft, is ideally suited for sailing in the Wadden Sea area.
A Fisherman Aak is characterized by a particularly spacious cockpit, making it pleasant to spend time outdoors as well.
The port of departure and arrival is the inner harbor, Marina Den Oever, or the fishing harbor in Den Oever. This offers the opportunity to experience what it is like to sail through the locks of the Afsluitdijk and explore the tranquil Wadden Sea, or to choose to stay on the IJsselmeer and, for example, visit the beautiful Zuiderzee town of Medemblik.
