Be warned, we were very disappointed with this experience. When we booked through Click&Boat, we paid €1,232. It was specified that the skipper and fuel would be paid separately. Once we arrived, we had to pay an additional €930 upfront. On top of that, there were other undisclosed charges. Initially, I had requested to be picked up directly from the port of Saint-Tropez. The owner then advised me to change the meeting point and suggested we meet near Tahiti Beach. We followed his recommendation. What he failed to mention was that we wouldn't be able to reach his boat directly from there and that we would have to pay someone with a small boat to transfer us to his. Result: €130 extra. We were staying at Kon-Tiki campsite and had planned to take a taxi to the meeting point. However, the owner told us it wasn't necessary, that it wasn't far, and that we could easily walk there. So we followed his advice, but the journey turned out to be much more complicated than expected: we walked for about 30 minutes, with an elderly person who had great difficulty completing the entire walk, as well as two one-year-old babies. If we had known the walk would be so long, we obviously would have taken a taxi. Upon arrival at the boat, the welcome was unfortunately not very pleasant. The man made comments about our bags, which had barely any sand on them. After a 30-minute walk and several necessary breaks along the way, especially with an elderly person and babies, this seemed rather unreasonable. We had clearly stated in advance that we were coming with two one-year-olds and two nine-year-olds. Naturally, the children were thrilled to be on a boat, eager to enjoy themselves, swim, and snorkel. However, we felt constantly watched and reprimanded. WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO DO ANYTHING. The man regularly reminded us to rinse our feet and be very careful not to get any sand on the boat. At one point, one of the one-year-olds simply wanted to play with plastic cups: he immediately snatched them away. This attitude made us extremely uncomfortable. We had informed them of the presence of young children and therefore expected a friendly and family-friendly experience, which was unfortunately not the case. The boat does, however, have a beautiful interior lounge, as can be seen in the photos in the advertisement. But we quickly realized we weren't exactly welcome inside. As a result, we didn't set foot in the lounge once during the entire trip. We didn't even dare use the restroom. The owner's attitude made us so uncomfortable that we were constantly afraid of disturbing him, making a mess, or doing something he wouldn't like. Around 1 p.m., just before dropping us off at a beach for lunch, the owner announced that we had now "seen it all" and that, if we wanted, we didn't even need to get back on the boat after the meal. We were particularly surprised by this remark. At that point, our trip had essentially been limited to a round trip to Cap Taillat. Yet, during our conversations before booking, he had presented me with a much more comprehensive package, explaining that he would take us to see celebrity villas, Brigitte Bardot's house, and Port Grimaud. Once at the restaurant, we took some time to discuss things amongst ourselves and realized that the service provided up to that point was absolutely not up to the price we had paid for a day trip scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. When we went back on board, we clearly expressed our dissatisfaction. We explained that we were very disappointed with the service and that his attitude since our arrival had made us particularly uncomfortable on the boat. And, strangely enough, as if by magic, from the moment we voiced our dissatisfaction, the program, which seemed to have ended at 1 p.m., was finally able to continue: we had time to visit the villas he had told us about, Brigitte Bardot's house, and Port Grimaud. In short, if you choose this boat, be prepared to remain seated very quietly! We found the owner extremely fastidious and felt like we were being watched every single thing we did. Beware of even the smallest grain of sand, insufficiently rinsed feet, or children who simply want to move around and enjoy the boat. If you're looking for an outing where everyone stays perfectly still, without making a sound, and above all, without a single grain of sand, this experience might be for you. However, if you want to spend a relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable day with your family, this is clearly not the experience we had, and we do not recommend it. As business owners, we were eagerly anticipating this day and were extremely disappointed.
