About the experience
You probably know, but Southern Corsica has long been considered one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the entire Mediterranean. From above, it looks extraordinary. From the water, aboard a private boat with nowhere to be and the whole afternoon ahead of you, it is something else entirely. This half-day private charter takes you along some of the most spectacular shores the island has to offer — entirely at your own pace, with no one else on board but your group.
Departing on the Adrenalina 9, your route takes you through a succession of beaches and bays that regularly feature on lists of the finest in Europe — and with good reason. First, the lagoon of Piantarella, a shallow, dazzling stretch of water where the sandy seabed turns the surface an almost unreal shade of turquoise, sitting just opposite the tiny Piana Island and the wild headlands of Sperone. Then comes Roche Blanche, a dramatic and little-visited stretch of coastline where pale rock meets deep blue water in a setting that feels genuinely remote.
The route continues to Porto Novo — one of the most unspoiled beaches on the entire island. Accessible only by sea or a long hike through the maquis, it remains wild, quiet, and completely untouched, the kind of place most visitors to Corsica never reach. From there, your skipper sets course for Rondinara, the beach that needs no introduction. Its almost perfectly circular, shell-shaped bay creates a naturally sheltered lagoon of exceptionally calm and clear water, framed by red rocks and the dense Mediterranean scrubland of the Corsican interior. It is, by almost any measure, one of the most beautiful beaches in France.
The return passage takes you along the coastline past the legendary Palombaggia — a long, sweeping arc of powdery white sand, ancient umbrella pines, and enormous red granite formations that has been drawing visitors from across Europe for decades. Seen from the sea, with the pine trees framing the shore and the water glowing beneath the afternoon light, it is a view worth the whole journey on its own.
Completely private, completely flexible, and calling at some of the most breathtaking locations the Mediterranean has to offer — this is southern Corsica at its absolute finest.
Book your private half-day charter today and discover why this coastline is in a league of its own.
