The noise, boat traffic, and constant movement disturb both the water and the experience, making it far less enjoyable. Visited early in the morning or at sunset, when the light is soft and the sea is calm, the cave glows with deep sapphire and turquoise tones, creating an almost otherworldly atmosphere. In these quiet hours, swimming inside feels intimate and serene, just as nature intended.
The morning tour heads right to the Blue Cave in a clockwise direction around Koločep, while the afternoon tour runs counterclockwise with the Blue Cave as the last stop.
