About the experience
A boat trip along the Amalfi Coast is an experience that enchants the senses, a succession of spectacular views, turquoise waters and villages nestled among the rocks. Sailing gently aboard a typical Sorrento gozzo, we will let ourselves be lulled by the sea, exploring the treasures of this extraordinary coast.
Starting from Amalfi, an ancient Maritime Republic, the journey begins among its white houses perched on the rocks, the majestic Cathedral of Sant'Andrea and the picturesque streets that tell centuries of history. A little further on, the village of Atrani fascinates us with its authentic beauty, a maze of narrow streets and arches hidden among the cliffs.
Continuing along the coast, we glimpse the spectacular Marmorata waterfall, a jet of fresh water that plunges directly into the sea, creating a unique contrast between the green of the vegetation and the crystalline blue of the water. Shortly after, we encounter the coast below Ravello, famous for its panoramic gardens and villas suspended between the sky and the sea.
The navigation continues towards the picturesque bay of Conca dei Marini, framed by exclusive villas such as those of the Chandon and Agnelli families. Here, we can admire the famous seaside restaurant "La Tonnarella", where the scent of traditional cuisine mixes with the sea breeze. Not far away, you can see the villa of Carlo Ponti and Sofia Loren, a symbol of Italian elegance and charm.
One of the most spectacular places along the route is undoubtedly the Fiordo di Furore, a narrow inlet enclosed between imposing rock walls, where the sea takes on emerald hues. A small fishing village rises hidden among the rocks, offering a timeless atmosphere.
After passing the fjord, the coast opens onto Praiano, with its two sides: to the west, the splendid Cala La Gavitella, exposed to the sun all day with an incredible view of Positano; to the east, the Marina di Praia, dominated by the iconic “Africana” disco and surrounded by ancient watchtowers.
A little further on, the imposing Hotel San Pietro welcomes us, one of the most exclusive in southern Italy, nestled in the rock overlooking the sea. Continuing on, we discover hidden coves and beaches that can only be reached by sea, such as the elegant beach of Arienzo, famous for its beach club, and the quiet inlet of Laurito, where the characteristic restaurant “Da Adolfo” is located.
Finally, the journey culminates in the bay of Positano, the pearl of the Coast, with its pastel-colored houses that slide gently towards the sea. Here, among the turquoise waters, historic villas overlook the turquoise waters that belonged to famous people such as Franco Zeffirelli and Tazio Nuvolari, who found in this place a refuge of peace and beauty.
Along the way, there will be the opportunity to stop to swim in the crystalline waters and admire the historic watchtowers and the iconic domes of the churches that dot the coast. For lunch, we can suggest a typical restaurant by the sea, where you can taste the real Amalfi cuisine, with dishes based on fresh fish and local specialties.
An unforgettable experience, to be lived by letting yourself be carried away by the slow rhythm of the sea, immersed in the timeless beauty of the Amalfi Coast.
