The meltemi wind is considered the most forceful wind in the summertime in Greece. Luckily, the meltemi is much lighter in the area of Greece and differs from wind force 4-6 in a northerly direction. Though the meltemi doesn’t always blow in summer, there can sometimes be a lighter southerly wind blowing at wind force 2-4.

Athens International Airport (ATH) is 33 km away from Marina Kalamaki. Bus shuttles run to the centre or you can get a taxi directly to the marina.
