TORAKIKI Torakiki is a very comfortable boat with a beam of 4.04 meters, two cabins with private bathrooms, and a comfortable central dinette. The boat has a maximum capacity of 10 people, but for rentals, we prefer to accommodate a maximum of four people to ensure greater comfort. The Hunter 41 is an American boat designed for transoceanic navigation. It features plenty of storage space for the galley, a gas oven, a microwave, and two refrigerators. We have up-to-date safety equipment, including life jackets for children of various ages and weights. Although we love animals, for the comfort and safety of the crew, pets are not allowed on board. Things to do in Imperia If you live in Turin, you can't miss the cycle path that connects Imperia to Ospedaletti. Built along the former railway line, it's a joy to behold. You can do it by bike, on foot, or by rickshaw in any season, it's filled with the scents of the sea and the typical flowers of the Riviera. When I do it in the height of summer by bike, it's a real pleasure. When you can't take it anymore, you lock up your bike and jump into the sea for a refreshing dip. You get back on your bike, still in a wet swimsuit, and the warm air dries you in a few minutes. You pass through the villages of Liguria, mountains on one side, sea on the other! It's packed with tourists, many Germans and French, a few Italians. You can stop for something to eat, a fried fish at the Veliero, and then continue your ride. You can also do it on foot; it's about 18 km; you have to love walking... it takes about 3.5 to 4 hours, under the sun... but it's really worth it. EATING AROUND IMPERIA We love eating on our boats as much as possible, in our little corner of paradise, with all the comforts, and we cook mouth-watering meals. But when we want to treat ourselves to a little break, there are a few places we particularly love, where the staff is friendly and where we feel like we're on a boat. One of these is #pescematto in Imperia. Fried fish by the meter is truly satisfying... and after all, we just can't do that on a boat... If you're looking for a romantic dinner, still with a seaside theme, with your feet in the sand, you can't miss #gassadamante in Andora. The fish is wonderful, and the atmosphere is chic and fun, just the way we like it. But if you're ravenous and want to eat really good food or a fantastic pizza, you can't miss #ristorantevecchiafattoria in Ceriana.

Davide mio marito, naviga da quando ha 2 anni...una vita in barca a vela, io ...meno di dieci anni...La mia avventura in barca a vela inizia cosi... Dimmi cosa devo fare e io lo faccio! -Cara psicologa, devo imparare a fare qualcosa da sola, a 45 anni, per riprendermi da questa ennesima sconfitta personale- -Loredana, fai il Cammino di Santiago, fai Avventure nel Mondo, fai un giro in bici, iscriviti a un corso in barca a vela! Lo sai il francese?- -Si lo so- Allora vai a Glenans! ….corsi in barca a vela…agosto, si posso solo ad agosto…quanto costa una settimana? Si lo posso fare…dove vado…Bonifacio …Corsica si ok prenoto. Senza sapere cosa fosse Glenans, senza mai essere salita su una barca a vela, senza sapere nulla di venti, di mare etc etc…prenoto il Corso. Ne parlo con Davide, che a quel tempo era poco più di un amico e mi dice -Brava! Ma sai cosa ti aspetta?- -Mah…veramente….me l’ha consigliato la psicologa…. Guardiamo insieme qualche video…non sembra proprio una passeggiata, incomincio ad avere qualche timore e cosi gli chiedo di venire con me… Arriviamo al porto di Bonifacio e insieme agli altri, italiani e francesi, carichiamo i bagagli e i viveri su di una lancia e ci incamminiamo in un sentiero per circa 1.30.. Arriviamo nel campo base, dove era stata allestita una cucina da campo, bagni a cielo aperto ed iniziamo a montare le tende. Ci dividiamo in due gruppi italiani e francesi e incominciamo la nostra avventura. Ci spiegano che a turno ci sarebbe spettata una giornata di corvet dove avremmo dovuto preparare pranzo, colazione e cena per i 50 ospiti, lavare i piatti, pulire i bagni 3 volte al giorno e ovviamente partecipare a tutte le attività nautiche . Briefing, uscita in mare, debriefing sia mattina che pomeriggio. Cosa mi è rimasto di Glenans? Quella insenatura meravigliosa da cui partivano le nostre imbarcazioni e rientravamo sempre solo a vela! La furia del vento e del mare che in quella zona non da tregua! L’esperienza di dormire in tenda, con i cinghiali che di notte vengono a spiarti. Lo spirito di aggregazione e di condivisione che sono un’esperienza del genere può dare. Grazie a Glenans ho imparato a non avere paura del mare del vento, ho imparato a veleggiare in sicurezza e soprattutto che da quel momento avrei fatto di tutto per avere una barca.
