Itinerary

Starting location:
Alanya, Turkey
Red Tower
It was built to protect the port, shipyard and Alanya Castle against attacks from the sea.
Historical Shipyard
It was built by the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I in 1228, near the Red Tower.
Pirates' Cave
The ceiling of the cave is approximately 78 m. It is known that in ancient times, this cave was used by pirates as a loot depot and that they hid the girls they kidnapped here.
Lovers' Cave
Lovers Cave is located in the southwest of the historical peninsula. However, it is large enough for one person to enter, and when you go deep into the cave, you can pass to the other side of the peninsula. There is a height of approximately 34m between the entrance of the cave and the sea water.
Phosphorous cave
It is the third cave on the Damlataş Cave side. This cave, which can be entered with a small boat, is an interesting natural beauty with geological value in terms of structure and appearance. The phosphorescent glow of the cave, which is very bright at night, can also be seen during the day. This cave is called the phosphorescent cave because of its phosphorescent color.
Cleopatra Beach
It is located on the west of the historical peninsula, on the shore in front of the Damlataş Cave. It has a Blue Flag. The beach leans back to the skirts of the peninsula. This natural beach, which looks like a pool surrounded by rocks, is famous for the fact that the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and the Roman Emperor Antonius swam here. The small cove of the beach, which extends towards the peninsula and consists of large rocks, is called Cleopatra. The characteristic of Cleopatra Cove is the clarity of its water. When you swim with sea goggles, you can watch the fish and the natural beauties of the seabed.
