All about Sailboat Rentals in Miami

We’re not sure what intrigues us more about Miami, the golden sandy beaches and clear turquoise water, the metropolitan day ambience and the sensational nightlife, or the prospect of sailing charters to destinations such as the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. Sailboat rentals in Miami are a classic choice, ideal for romantic retreats and family sailing vacations in beautiful parts of the Florida coast. Visit the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science for an enlightening education experience or the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens to view extravagant decor and architecture. Or simply bask in the sunshine and breathe in the fresh sea air as you unwind on your sailboat rental in Miami...
As the cultural centre of South Florida, Miami is the perfect place to holiday with friends and family. Sailing boat rentals in Miami offer an unmissable opportunity to delight in warm sunshine, enjoy the local attractions, and soak up the rays. From the Miami shores to Coconut Grove, the cuisine in Miami is a reflection of its diverse population. Combining Caribbean, Latin American and American cuisines, a sailing boat charter in Miami offers not only sun and sea, but also a vast array of mouth-watering Floribbean dishes to enjoy while afloat.

The Miami Beach Culture

Miamarina at Bayside is a popular place for charter tours to start, or board a boat to the Biscayne Bay and treat your eyes to stunning views of the Miami Brickel. With the breathtaking sunset on Key Biscayne and beautiful skyline at all times of the day, sailing boat rentals in Miami offer the perfect opportunity to holiday on the water. If you are interested in exploring Downtown Miami, Stillsville is a great place to dock before heading to Monty’s Sunset or Joe’s Stone Crab restaurant for some delicious seafood. Evenings at Smith & Wollensky are incredible, with striking views of Fisher Island and the passing cruise ships on the Atlantic.

How to Rent a Boat in Miami

You can charter a boat for as little as a week when you choose price-appropriate sailing boat rentals in Miami. You can also start your journey at different times from sun-up to sundown depending on your schedule. The weather is mostly warm and the ocean is accommodative, although the tropical monsoon climate has a drier winter. Choose a charter with a skipper to ensure a comfortable trip at all times and set your own itinerary for an unforgettable holiday in Miami.

Miami Sailboat Rental Areas

We like to give you plenty of choice when it comes to sailboat rental areas. Hence, our sailboat rentals are based in three different parts of Miami; Miami Beach, Downtown Miami and Coconut Grove.
Miami Beach is without a doubt our most lively sailboat rental location. With up to 400 berths, this marina has all the amenities you could possible dream of, including a heated swimming pool!
Downtown Marina is a smaller marina, yet just as central, based on the mainland Miami coast.
Coconut Grove is a more tranquil area of Miami with hip bars and chilled out coffee shops. The marina holds up to 260 vessels and has great access to Key Biscayne and the Florida Keys.

What to do in Miami

If you’ve already planned your sailing route to the Florida Keys or maybe even the Bahamas, here are some ideas for things you can do in Miami.
Visit the Wynwood Arts District and the many breweries and beer gardens. Wynwood Brewing Company is Miami’s first beer brewery and has an appetizing ale called La Rubia (The Blonde). We also recommend the Concrete Beach Brewery. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating with a variety of fantastic brews.
Of course, make sure you explore the Art Deco District and Lincoln Road. Not to mention Calle Ocho in the mini Cuba of Little Havana.
Climate and Sailing Conditions in Miami
Miami has hot summers and warm winters, winner winner chicken dinner! During winter temperatures average 75 to 77 °F and in the summer they are well in the 90s!
Summer is hot and humid with June and September seeing plenty of tropical showers.
In terms on wind conditions, the wind in the summertime is fairly gentle and breezy. Though from autumn to spring, an eastward-flowing cycle repeats itself throughout the winter months. One full cycle tends to last from three to four days.

How to get to Miami

Public transport services in Miami include tri-rail, metro bus and metrorail. You can use public transport to get to any sailboat rental location, or a taxi.
