About the experience

At Mar-Rent Algarve, rent one of our spectacular 6 meter boats.
Equipped with VHF Radio and all type 3 safety equipment. You need BOAT LICENCE

Due to the distance involved, the boat cannot go to the Benagil Caves.

The briefing will be only made in English or Portuguese. Please make sure someone from the group is able to understand and translate the informations given.
To rent our boats, the nominated skipper must have previous experience and the relevant Navigation License.
The Ria Formosa Natural Park provides the most pleasant boat experience with the most beautiful views of the Algarve and the best and wide sheltered water plan with wonderful beaches.

Great Experience. Ricardo is a great owner and host. He is patient and knowledgeable, and was kind enough to go with us for a bit to help an unexperienced sailor (me :P ). The boat was amazing, spacious and practical with good equipment (the sun "roof" was just priceless). Great day, hope to repeat next year :) Highly recommended.

Everything was great. Ricardo was very friendly. Although I don't speak Portuguese and he doesn't speak Spanish, we understood each other. The boat was very well-equipped and the surroundings were beautiful. I highly recommend Playa Desierta.

I rent the boat for a day trip with my two kids. Ricardo gave me all information I needed upfront line fishing rout and bates or any other question. When we met at the marina he spend a lot of time introducing me to the navigation and as it was more than a quarter century I was steering a boat we went together to an island where he showed me ho to handle the anchor. After the refresh of my knowledge he left the boat and I felt comfortable alone. He picked us up when I gave him a message and helped us with the parking. Thanks Ricardo for your kindness and support and this great opportunity. It was a pleasure meeting you. And we will come again!
