Lefkada is an island, but as previously mentioned it has a bridge to the mainland, so there are many different ways of getting there. Lefkada's nearest airport is Preveza and in summer there are flights to Preveza from all over Europe, including Scandinavia, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Italy, and several of the Balkan countries.
