About the experience

The name of this boat is EVANGELINA UNO, and it was built in 1912 in the port of Freixo on the Noia estuary and christened "LETROISI" at its launch. It was restored again in 2007.

This vessel is 18.70 meters long, 5 meters wide, and has a draft of 1.65 meters. It is rigged with two masts built in the style of the period and square sails, also made of typical materials. In the 1960s, it was demasted to operate solely under motor power as a mussel boat.

The restoration of this vessel has been very careful and traditional; in fact, the sail rigging is tied without the use of steel rings or cables. The Evangelina Uno is possibly one of the few boats from its era that remain afloat.

Currently, we sail to showcase all the cultural and natural richness of the Vigo estuary.
