We're talking about the Vendicari Wildlife Oasis Nature Reserve, a pristine strip of land spanning approximately 1,500 hectares where a precious ecosystem has lived undisturbed for centuries, making the oasis one of the most beautiful and unique in the world.

We'll reach Balata in Marzamemi.
In the past, the main commercial ships of southeastern Sicily departed from here, and their activity was closely linked to the tuna fishery.
Today, it's a charming corner that frames the village, a popular meeting place for tourists.
Balata is the most characteristic. It's a small rectangular square paved with limestone slabs. On one side, it's bathed by the sea and on the other, bordered by ancient houses.

You can stop for a traditional lunch in Marzamemi's main square, surrounded by the village's beauty, and visit the two large tuna markets.

He told us a lot about Syracuse, took us to the most beautiful places, and offered us everything we needed to eat and drink. The boat is gorgeous!     Booking a boat tour with Luca was the highlight of our trip. The boat was beautiful, and Luca is so kind, and made us feel at home. He knew all the best spots for swimming, shared local history along the way. If you’re in Siracusa, you have to go out with Luca. Grazie Mille Luca!
