About the experience

The Back Loop yacht is the first Polish vessel on the island of Sal in the Cape Verde archipelago. The consistently beautiful weather, along with near-perfect conditions for ocean sailing, allows us to easily visit all seven corners of the island. Each island has its own unique atmosphere, and we want to discover them with you. From underwater adventures, through fresh fish we can catch ourselves, to mountain hikes with a tropical twist.

A few words about us...
We're not the first to decide to live this way—to drop everything, buy a yacht, and hit the road—but that's exactly how we envisioned our lives.
We chose Cape Verde as our destination because of its still-untouched nature and perfect windsurfing conditions. We love water sports and have our own equipment, so if you're looking to combine an active holiday with sailing, we're here for you.

    What a great day! We went for a full day, sailed up past Murdiera Bay, anchored, ate lunch, and snorkeled. Saw some dolphins, whales at a distance, various fish. Tomasz was very friendly and a great snorkeling instructor for our girls. The sailing was beautiful. On the way back, we ventured out of the lee of the island and into open ocean to get a small taste of ocean sailing. Nice swells and steady wind. Truly a wonderful day! Highly recommend for experienced sailors and never-beens alike!

We also felt safe the whole time but also had the freedom to do almost anything we wanted. Tomaz also paid special attention to me after I told him that I was very interested in sailing and explained a lot of things to me in detail.
