About the experience

AD HOC, a high-performance 40-foot sailboat, awaits you to introduce you to competitive sailing with its owner on board as your guide, a former sailing instructor.

For a day or more, you can choose from:

- a discovery cruise in the Bay of Marseille, to the Frioul Islands, the Planier Lighthouse, the Château d'If, or the Calanques of Cassis;

- a short cruise to Bandol, Sanary, the Île des Embiez, or even Porquerolles;

- advanced training in spinnaker handling and sail trim to learn how to combine speed and safety;

- training in cruising-racing, and perhaps even participation in a local regatta (boat rated according to OSIRIS standards).

With up to 100 m² of upwind sail area, a 130 m² symmetrical spinnaker, and a 110 m² asymmetrical spinnaker, you'll enjoy good speed and exhilarating sailing.

The A40 can accommodate up to 11 people in addition to the owner, and in cruising mode offers 6 to 8 berths, including 3 double cabins, in comfortable accommodations: toilet, bathroom, galley with gas stove, refrigerator, etc.

If needed, a second A40 can be reserved to accommodate a group of around twenty people with two similar boats (subject, of course, to the availability of the second boat).

    Thanks much Pascal for the incredible 2 days on your boat, discovering the Bay of Marseille, the Calanques and Cassis. Appreciated a lot the opportunity to actively practice sailing (for me as well as for my 15year old son). It’s not easy to enthuse a teenager, but you managed it wonderfully with your experience and knowledge of sailing, the boat, and the surroundings. The boat is in perfect shape in line with it’s sporty DNA: basic but perfectly clean and comfortable. Communication up front was super smooth and transparent, adding to the overall really positive experience!!! Highly recommended for everyone in search of an active sailing experience in the area.

    Great 4-day family cruise with our 3 children aged 3 to 8 on this A40. Pascal is very nice, great communication and precise answers given to all my questions before departure. He knows the area of the Bay of Marseille very well and has a solid sailing experience (precious for us who are novices). The safety aspect with our young children was important and it went really well, we were able to enjoy great sensations on the boat which is ideal for people wishing to learn to sail. I highly recommend him and will not hesitate to go back with Pascal. Just one point that I was unaware of when choosing this boat: it can only moor in a port and does not allow you to stay at anchor in a creek for example.
