About the experience

Some moments call for peace and quiet above all else. Aboard the Capelli Tempest, you can take your loved ones out to sea for a simple and intimate tribute, far from the shore, at your own pace.

You pilot the boat yourself, no license required, and choose between a 2- or 4-hour option depending on how much time you need for reflection. The route is flexible: we usually go well offshore to scatter the ashes, but if you wish to stop on a sandbar for a walk, that's perfectly fine.

Important note: only biodegradable urns can be scattered at sea; this is a legal requirement. If you don't already have one, please consider getting one before the outing.
