About the experience

Let me introduce you to Miralejos, a 1979 Hunter Europa, 5.5 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, and with a very low freeboard that will make you feel much closer to the sea.

For those unfamiliar with this great little classic, it's renowned for being one of the safest and best-handling boats of its size, respecting its limitations, of course (especially on longer voyages). This makes it a perfect boat for day trips, always keeping an eye on the weather forecast to tailor the experience to your needs and ensure you enjoy it to the fullest.

The maximum capacity is 5 people, including myself, but I don't recommend sailing with more than 4. It's a little boat designed for couples, families, or even friends, but keeping in mind the limited space. You'll have your own private boat to do whatever you want, without having to share the experience with others, all at an affordable price.

Given the unique location of Getxo's marina, we offer two options:

You can sail along the Nervión estuary, admiring the beauty of the cliffs and flysch formations, as well as the beaches and old port of Getxo. Anchor below the Galea cliffs, or even, weather permitting, sail to Plentzia, a charming fishing village nestled in a natural harbor with a bay you'll love.

Alternatively, you can motor up the Bilbao Estuary, a more tranquil excursion, sheltered from the waves and wind, yet possessing its own unique magic and charm. Admire the giant cranes of the old shipyards and the former blast furnaces of Bilbao, perhaps enjoying a glass of wine or some snacks, before finally arriving in Bilbao. The entrance to the city will surprise you. Furthermore, tide permitting (we'll try to coordinate the timing), we can even sail to the Guggenheim Museum for a unique perspective.
